About Arijit

The "knowing me" doc. This is where Arijit tells any partner, human or AI, who he is and what he is doing, so they can work with him with real context rather than guessing. Companion to Operating-Principles (how to partner with him) and My-Projects (what he is building). Started 2026-06-30.

Who I am

What the assistant knows so far: works at Algolia (arijit.chowdhury@algolia.com); operates as a builder/operator who ships product end to end, not just specs. Holds a high bar and reacts strongly in both directions (see Operating-Principles).

What I'm doing right now

What the assistant knows so far: building a portfolio of Algolia-adjacent products and a personal operating system (My OS / ArijitOS) to run them. The active center of gravity is PRISM (grounded prospect-intelligence + sales coach) with a supporting cast (Scout, algolia-central2, CurioQuest, Crawler-Factory). How I think

Known: demands the idea be expanded and looked at from multiple angles before any conclusion; wants contrarian input; debates to the right answer rather than deferring. Plain language over jargon.

What I'm building toward (My OS)

Captured so far: My OS is Arijit's personal operating system. Planned components include a project tracker (visual portfolio dashboard, backed by My-Projects and the project-tracker skill), a self-model (Operating-Principles, this doc), and more to be specified. What matters to me / non-negotiables

Known standards already in force: no fabrication (blank stays blank), evidence on every data point, no em dashes in reader-facing text, verify before claiming done, real partnership over a yes-man.
