2026-06-26 CI Command Center decision log

Summary

Arijit clarified that Competitive Intelligence is one of the most critical Chowmes projects and must become a best-in-industry system, not a weak daily report attached to Athena. CI should have its own workspace identity, dedicated Telegram bot, dashboard, report archive, quality gates, signal history, action recommendations, and stakeholder-facing intelligence surface.

Decision Recorded

See 2026-06-26-ci-command-center-and-dedicated-bot.

Key Direction

  • CI is a standalone product/workspace inside Chowmes.
  • Athena supervises CI as CEO, monitors quality, and escalates strategic issues.
  • Athena should not be the daily Telegram delivery agent for CI.
  • CI needs a dedicated bot for daily and weekly delivery.
  • CI needs a dashboard for previous reports, weekly digests, patterns, source health, competitor timelines, and recommended actions.
  • The dashboard should eventually be useful to Algolia leadership or functional teams, not only to Arijit.
  • My OS Command Center is a separate dashboard layer for all agents, workspaces, Kanban, worktrees, runtime status, and executive decisions.

Immediate Implications

  1. Fix operational truth first: live ports, live config, active gateways, and runbooks.
  2. Fix the weekly CI cron failure before the next weekly run.
  3. Audit the current CI output quality and source coverage.
  4. Research best-in-class competitive intelligence systems, dashboards, analyst workflows, and executive action-routing.
  5. Design the CI bot, data model, dashboard information architecture, quality gates, and delivery workflow before expanding agents.

Notes

The system should not confuse Telegram with the architecture. Telegram is a delivery surface. The durable product is the ledger, source registry, synthesis layer, dashboard, action workflow, and quality loop.
